Upcoming webinar / meeting

It's been a busy month is our household.

Our next meeting will be on Sunday October 3, 2021

Please note that this meeting is at NOON Eastern Standard time, which is earlier than most other meetings.

General catch up
Determine interest in potential class series "Introduction to Video Editing"
Hybrid meetings
As mentioned last month, many clubs are meeting again in person, and some have enabled hybrid meetings.
This is where some members are on-site at the club and some members are participating remotely.
Some have gone well, some have had challenges either for the club or for demonstrators.
Let's get an update from our members... what's gone well... what are continuing issues?
Tech topics
New Zoom features
Some new hardware
Need long HDMI runs? We will look at hybrid HDMI/FiberOptic/HDMI cable options.
I will test a 50ft hybrid cable
Have Rode Wireless Go microphones?
Let's look at a charging case for the system
Look at a new wired lavalier microphone that might be useful for some club use cases.
And of course, our members may have many things to discuss and show

Please make sure your Zoom client is up to date.
To update your Zoom desktop client program:
Open the Zoom program so it displays this screen, then click on the icon or photo next to the search area
This displays a menu... select Check for Updates
Follow the onscreen instructions

All of the recordings of Lucid meetings are now available on one page: Lucid Webinar Recordings

This weekend's meeting will start at 12:00 Noon Eastern time, but I will likely start the session at 11:00 a.m. so folks can be sociable before the demo starts.
